Paint and roaring engines!I have been an aviation enthusiast for as long as I can remember. The paintings I create of airplanes of the second world war are based upon extensive research and as accurate as possible. Depicted on this website are historical fighter planes, some of the incidents did actually happen. After using gouache and paper for many years, I now enjoy working in oilpaint on board. I was able to use my love for technique and workmanship professionally in working with metal and machines as an employee of large industrial companies. I am currently involved in the reconstruction of a Dutch world war two airplane, the Fokker G-1, for which I thus far created the gun sight.
